01 - 7 oz brie cheese, rind trimmed and cut into 24 small cubes

02 - 1 medium tart apple, cored and finely diced

03 - 1 sheet frozen puff pastry (8 oz), thawed

04 - 1/2 cup thick caramel sauce
→ Nuts (optional)
05 - 2 tablespoons chopped pecans or walnuts

# Directions:
01 - Preheat oven to 400°F. Lightly grease a 24-cup mini muffin tin or line with mini paper liners.
02 - On a floured surface, roll puff pastry into a 10 x 10-inch square. Cut into 24 equal squares.
03 - Gently press each puff pastry square into a muffin tin cup, allowing the corners to rise slightly above the rim.
04 - Place one cube of brie into each pastry cup, followed by a few pieces of diced apple.
05 - Top each cup with about 1/2 teaspoon caramel sauce. Sprinkle with chopped nuts if using.
06 - Bake for 13 to 15 minutes until pastry is golden and cheese is melted.
07 - Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes. Drizzle additional caramel sauce and sprinkle with flaky sea salt before serving.
