# Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 12-cavity donut pan or muffin pan.
- Whisk together flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.
- In a separate bowl, mix melted unsalted butter, eggs, whole milk, cooled coffee, and vanilla extract until well blended.
- Gently fold the wet mixture into the dry ingredients until just combined, ensuring not to overmix.
- Spoon or pipe the batter into the prepared pan, filling each cavity about three-quarters full.
- Bake for 18 to 20 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center withdraws clean. Let cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack until completely cool.
- Dissolve instant coffee granules in 1 teaspoon of hot water and let cool. In a chilled bowl, whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract using an electric mixer until soft peaks form. Gently fold in the dissolved coffee.
- Pipe or spread a generous amount of coffee cream over the cooled donuts or muffins.
- Adorn the cream-topped donuts with candy eyes, colored sprinkles, and food coloring to create playful monster faces.
