# Directions:
01 - Gently heat the milk in a small saucepan over medium heat until it begins to steam but does not reach a boil. Incorporate the cocoa powder and granulated sugar, whisking continuously until both are fully dissolved and the mixture is smooth. Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract. Allow the base to cool slightly before proceeding.
02 - Divide the prepared cocoa base equally between two tall glasses. Place one scoop of vanilla ice cream into each glass.
03 - Slowly pour 1 cup of chilled root beer into each glass, allowing the natural effervescence to create a frothy head.
