07 - 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper, optional
# Directions:
01 - Preheat oven to 400°F. Pat chickpeas thoroughly dry with a clean towel to remove excess moisture and promote crispiness.
02 - Combine chickpeas, olive oil, salt, smoked paprika, garlic powder, ground cumin, and cayenne pepper in a large mixing bowl. Toss until evenly coated with the seasonings.
03 - Spread seasoned chickpeas in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Roast for 30 to 35 minutes, shaking the pan halfway, until chickpeas are crisp and golden brown.
04 - Remove chickpeas from oven and let them cool slightly. They will continue to become crisp as they cool. Serve once they are at room temperature.
