→ Dipping Chocolate
09 - 6 oz semi-sweet chocolate, chopped or chips
10 - 1 teaspoon coconut oil or vegetable shortening (optional)
# Directions:
01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt in a small bowl. Set aside.
03 - Using a mixer or whisk, cream softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
04 - Beat in egg, milk, and vanilla extract until fully combined.
05 - Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
06 - Drop teaspoon-sized mounds of dough onto prepared sheet, spacing 2 inches apart. Bake 12 to 15 minutes until edges are lightly golden. Cool on sheet 5 minutes, then transfer to wire rack.
07 - Combine chopped chocolate and optional coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
08 - Dip half of each cooled cookie into melted chocolate. Let excess drip off, place on parchment paper. Refrigerate 10 minutes to set chocolate if desired.
