# Directions:
01 - Set the waffle iron to medium heat and allow it to come up to temperature as per manufacturer’s directions.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt using a whisk to ensure even distribution.
03 - In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract until thoroughly blended.
04 - Add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients and carefully stir just until incorporated, ensuring the batter remains light; avoid overmixing.
05 - Lightly coat the waffle iron plates with nonstick spray for easy release.
06 - Place 2–3 tablespoons of batter onto the waffle iron per stick. Position a sausage link in the center and top with an additional tablespoon of batter to fully cover.
07 - Close the waffle iron and cook each stick for 3–5 minutes until the exterior is golden brown and thoroughly cooked.
08 - Gently lift each waffle stick from the iron using tongs and set aside. Repeat the process with remaining batter and sausage links.
