# Components:
→ Bread
01 - 8 slices soft white sandwich bread, crusts removed
→ Cheese
02 - 8 slices cheddar cheese or preferred melting cheese
→ For Cooking
03 - 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
→ Optional for Serving
04 - 1/2 cup marinara sauce or tomato soup, warmed
# Directions:
01 - Flatten each slice of sandwich bread with a rolling pin until thin.
02 - Place one slice of cheddar or preferred cheese on each flattened bread slice.
03 - Roll up the bread tightly around the cheese, pressing the edge to seal.
04 - Brush the outside of each rollup lightly with softened unsalted butter.
05 - Preheat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat.
06 - Place rollups seam side down in the skillet. Cook 2 to 3 minutes per side until golden brown and cheese is melted.
07 - Remove rollups from skillet and allow to cool briefly.
08 - Serve warm, optionally with warmed marinara sauce or tomato soup for dipping.
