# Components:
→ Dough
01 - 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
02 - 2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast
03 - 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
04 - 1 teaspoon salt
05 - 1 cup warm milk (about 110°F)
06 - 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
07 - 1 large egg
→ Garlic Butter
08 - 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
09 - 4 garlic cloves, finely minced
10 - 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
11 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
12 - 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese, optional for garnish
# Directions:
01 - Combine all-purpose flour, instant yeast, granulated sugar, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
02 - Add warm milk, melted unsalted butter, and egg to the dry mixture. Mix until a soft, uniform dough forms.
03 - Transfer dough to a floured surface and knead by hand for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic, or knead with a stand mixer using the dough hook for 5–6 minutes.
04 - Place dough in a lightly greased bowl. Cover and allow to rise in a warm area until doubled in volume, about 1 hour.
05 - In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and salt. Set aside.
06 - Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
07 - Punch down the risen dough and divide into 20 equal portions. Roll each into a smooth ball.
08 - Place dough balls on the prepared baking sheet in the shape of a Christmas tree (forming a triangle with trunk), leaving some space between each ball.
09 - Generously brush the arranged dough balls with half of the garlic butter mixture. Cover loosely and let rise for 25–30 minutes, or until puffy.
10 - Set oven temperature to 350°F.
11 - Bake in preheated oven for 22–25 minutes, until golden brown.
12 - Remove rolls from the oven, brush with remaining garlic butter, and garnish with Parmesan cheese if desired. Serve warm.
