07 - 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

09 - 2 tablespoons onion, finely minced
10 - 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
11 - ½ teaspoon salt

# Directions:

01 - In a large mixing bowl, combine active dry yeast and granulated sugar with warm water. Allow to stand for 5 minutes until foamy.
02 - Add all-purpose flour, salt, and olive oil to the yeast mixture. Stir with a wooden spoon or dough hook until a soft dough forms.
03 - Transfer dough to a floured work surface. Knead for 5 to 7 minutes until dough becomes smooth and elastic.
04 - Place dough in a lightly oiled bowl. Cover and let it rise in a warm area for 1 hour or until doubled in volume.
05 - Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
06 - Punch down the risen dough. Divide into 12 equal pieces and roll each into a 7-inch breadstick.
07 - Place shaped breadsticks on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each.
08 - In a small bowl, combine melted unsalted butter, minced garlic, finely minced onion, chopped parsley, and salt.
09 - Brush half of the garlic-onion butter over the unbaked breadsticks.
10 - Transfer the baking sheet to the oven and bake for 13 to 15 minutes until breadsticks are golden brown.
11 - Immediately brush baked breadsticks with the remaining garlic-onion butter.
12 - Present breadsticks warm as a side or appetizer.
