Recipe FAQ

How do you keep the chicken juicy?

Seared briefly before baking and cooked covered with sauce and broth, the chicken retains moisture and becomes tender when shredded.

What kind of potatoes are best for fries?

Russet potatoes are ideal for crispy fries due to their starchy texture and ability to brown evenly in the oven.

Can I make the sliders ahead of time?

Preparing the chicken and fries in advance is possible, but assemble sliders shortly before serving to keep buns fresh and toppings crisp.

What sauces complement the sliders?

Barbecue sauce flavors the chicken richly, while coleslaw adds a crunchy, tangy contrast that complements the smoky meat well.

How do I achieve crispy fries without frying?

Coating fries with vegetable oil and spreading them evenly on parchment-lined baking sheets ensures crispness while baking at high heat.
